Review
Tres Bon! Excellent en fait. Pigalle’s intimate and romantic setting makes you feel as though you walked off of Charles Street in Boston and into a lovely Parisian dining room. It’s a perfect destination for a date, especially before catching a show in the adjacent Theatre District.  Alyson and I went to celebrate her birthday. The dining room was a perfect size, we felt as though we had enough privacy in the small and intimate dinning room to enjoy our conversation without interruptions from other tables or kitchen noise. The menu offered an eclectic mix of French and Asian options. Our Raw Tuna “Martini” was excellent and instantly became one of our favorite appetizers of all time. The presentation and combinations of flavors make this restaurant a winner. I had the duck and Alyson ordered the Steak Frites. Both were good choices, but the steak was the better of the two.  Both went extremely well with our Chateauneuf du Pape. The wine list was extensive and the waiter was knowledgeable.  The service helped to make the evening enjoyable and they are attentive to your needs. If you are going to a show, they make it a point to time your meal so as to fall in line with the start of your show.  A nice touch when I called for a reservation. -Jason

January 2007 - Pigalle impressed again, going 8 for 8. Each course we experienced was phenomenal.  Based on Jason's recommendations, we selected the Chateauneuf du Pape, and started with the Tuna Martini and the Frisee Salad with Goat Cheese.  For our entrees, we opted for the Steak Frites and the Lobster Bolognese, and a side of Creamy Spinach. We finished our meal with the Pear Quince Crisp and the Chocolate Trio.  Each was expertly prepared; the Lobster Bolognese stood out as one of the best entrees we have ever tried.  Boston100's second experience at Pigalle pushed it well into the top ten. -Mike & Kim
