Review
Morton’s does steaks as well as anyone in Boston. The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired, as guests enter into an office building, then downstairs to the basement level. The dining room is wood-toned, with white linen-covered tables and celebrity photos covering the walls. Patrons are treated to a wheel-up menu, where the knowledgeable wait staff shows off the available steak cuts and seafood selections (in raw form). All appetizers and entrees are prepared to perfection and in abundance. On our most recent visit, we both opted for the Filet Mignon, which was cooked just as we requested, with excellent spicing and sauce. Service is formal, old school fashion, which was a nice treat. Order sides with caution, as they are served in huge family-style portions. We recommend Morton's for steak enthusiasts, but if romance or elegance is what you're looking for, this may not be your place.  -Mike
