Review
One of
America’s finest restaurant chains, the Capital Grille offers over
twenty locations nationwide, but still manages to create a local dining
experience at its Boston locations. We have visited both the Back Bay
location and the Chestnut Hill location (as well as the Providence
location). The atmosphere of each of the eateries is generally similar
(dark wood tones and plush furniture) with some unique touches such as
swanky statutes and posh artwork. The menu is very traditional with a wide
selection, serving traditional steak, poultry, seafood, and vegetarian
options in plentiful portions. The food is always first rate, from the
appetizers through dessert. Service is typically excellent, but can get
spotty at busy hours. You basically know what you’re going to get
from the Capital Grille – top notch food and service (at an expensive
price). A great place to bring a large group, as the atmosphere can be
very rowdy. -Mike
